Shadi Toloui-Wallace (Persian: شادی) (born 2 April 1989 in Sydney, Australia)[1] is an Australian singer-songwriter who is currently based inVancouver, Canada. Her debut album, Leather Bound Book was released in 2009. It was inspired by her religious service in the Baha'i World Centre in Haifa, Israel which re-ignited her desire to express herself, and her beliefs through music. The album was produced by Louie Shelton who had previously worked with artists such as Seals and Crofts, Simon and Garfunkel, Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, Neil Diamond, John Lennon, and was recently inducted in the Musicians Hall of Fame.[2] Her second album 'Verdant Isle' was released in mid July, 2011.[1] Shadi is a member of the Bahá'í Faith.

Born to Australian and Iranian parents, Shadi was raised in Haifa, Israel where she spent her childhood at the Baha'i World Centre where her parents would serve. She grew up with friends from all over the world and considers this experience to be very influential in her love for diverse musical genres and multiculturalism.[1] At the age of 9, Shadi and her family moved to Brisbane, Australia. In 2008, Shadi decided to follow in her parents footsteps and serve at the Baha'i World Centre. After one year of service Shadi went back to Brisbane to complete her undergraduate Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications, majoring in Public Relations and Media and Communications at
