Demirkapı is a small village in Mut district of Mersin Province, Turkey. At 36°55′N 33°28′E it is situated in the high reaches of Toros Mountains to the north of Mut. The distance to Mut is 50 kilometres (31 mi) and to Mersin is 215 kilometres (134 mi). The winter (settled) population of the village was only 46 [1] as of 2011.
