Dakpathar, also spelled Dapatthar and Dak Pather is situated in Dehradun district of Uttarakhand, India. It is on the left bank of the Yamuna River and 28 km (17 mi) northwest of the city of Dehradun.[1] Dakpathar lies about 790 meters above sea level at the foothills of Shivalik range on the banks of river Yamuna. Dakpathar is a wonderful tourist destination. Dakpathar is well connected by a regular bus service from the Doon valley's parade ground and highway bus terminus (Dehradun).
