Conemaugh Township is a township in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,145 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Johnstown, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1966. The Staple Bend Tunnel was listed in 1994.[1]

Conemaugh Township contains East Conemaugh Borough and is about 24 miles WSW of Altoona, Pennsylvania and 2.5 miles north of Johnstown-Cambria County Airport. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 11.4 square miles (30 km2), of which, 11.3 square miles (29 km2) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2) of it (1.05%) is water.
